Saeco avails itself of the precious collaboration of Mavea, worldwide leader for the filtering System. Intenza is the new water filtering system designed by Mavea, leader in the industry, that reduces limescale and impurities present in tap water, providing better protection of Saeco coffee machines and optimum performance in terms of temperature and steam pressure. Besides reducing lime scale and residual metals, such as copper and lead that may be present in the piping, Intenza also reduces the substances that can modify the taste of the coffee, such as chlorine. The result is a coffee with a natural and intense aroma and a soft, dense cream. Mavea Intenza has the exclusive Aroma System, a special mechanism that adapts the filtering process to the conditions of the local tap water, giving a balanced composition of water for a truly outstanding espresso coffee. Mavea Intenza is available for all the Primea, Talea and Incanto range although is an optional for the Odea, Xsmall and Lavazza A Modo Mio's model.
