Structure

Marketing, research and development, production and distribution are the essential elements which combine to give Saeco International Group its strength.
The ability to interpret and anticipate the needs of the consumer is a key feature, as well as a core marketing function Saeco. Integrated at the group level, SIG coordinates the initiatives of all the subsidiaries, while allowing the autonomy required to provide a flexible response to local demand. The group has also opted for autonomous and independent approaches to the management of the Saeco and Gaggia brands, with the objective of identifying and developing specific and differentiated target markets for each product group.

Efforts in research and development enable a high level of innovation to be maintained, with strong market impact. From the first innovations in coffee machine technology through to the present day, research activity is considerable, involving over seventy engineers and specialized technicians, spread across four companies in the group.

Saeco International Group has successfully developed its production capability, enabling the manufacturing process to be managed effectively. The assembly of electronic components, working and painting sheet metal, building molds and producing molded plastic materials are processes carried out by an integrated system supplying the group's four main production plants.

The robustness of the group is also reinforced by its distribution system. Saeco International Group aims to guarantee a widespread presence, in terms of distribution and the availability of after-sales technical support. In its Italian market, the group has put in place a strong distribution network of agencies, and outside Italy it controls sixteen sales branches run by local partners.
